Animation Guide

-------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to the Animation Guide. Before we get this "tour" started there are a few points I want you to understand. Firstly, this info is not 100% accurate - I have made this with very few resources and so nothing is guranteed to be correct. Secondly, not all techniques listed may have been used during the making of DB/DBZ/DBGT. So...let's get started!

-------------------------------------------------------------
-- The Animation Production --

-- Stage 1
1) Storyboard Drawings
2) Rough Drawing
3) Clean-Up Drawing
4) Final Layout
-- Stage 2
1) The Cel
2) The Background
-- Stage 3
1) Cels and Backgrounds Together
2) The Process of Animation

-- Extra Animation Techniques --

1) Frame Repetition
2) Frame Freezing
3) Artist's Techniques
4) Frame Zooming

*Titles of techniques are not the actual terminology

-------------------------------------------------------------

But where was DBZ made?!

DB/DBZ/GT was made in the depths of Japan....well, not the depths but in Japan. It was made by TOEI animation and created in Bird Studios. I believe that is the correct birthplace, but FUNimation did NOT animate DBZ. They were the dubbing, licensing, distibuting....blah blah...company that brought DBZ to the Americans
